London's specialist adult circumcision clinic
UK's First Dedicated Adult Circumcision Clinic
About Us
The UK's First Dedicated Adult Circumcision Clinic
We are the UK's first clinic dedicated solely to adult circumcision, and we treat adults only — so every consultation is private, unhurried and discreet, and we will tell you honestly whether circumcision is the right option for you. Most patients are assessed and treated on the same day, under local anaesthetic, with no general anaesthetic and no overnight stay.
Our surgeons are GMC-registered and practise at leading NHS hospitals, including St Thomas', King's and Cambridge University Hospital. Every circumcision is carried out with sterile, single-use instruments in a CQC-registered theatre rated 'Good', using medical glue, the ZSR stapler or dissolvable stitches for minimal scarring and a comfortable recovery.
Pricing is fixed from £700, with all-inclusive packages from £950 and six weeks of free aftercare — see our pricing and the full cost breakdown.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does adult circumcision cost?
Adult circumcision starts from £700 with glue; the ZSR stapler is £780 and circumcision with BXO is £760. All-inclusive packages start from £950 (Silver) and £1,100 (Gold). A face-to-face consultation is £250, or it is included in a package. Your exact price is confirmed in writing at your consultation. See our pricing page.
Is it done under local or general anaesthetic?
We use local anaesthetic, so you stay awake and pain-free during the procedure and go home the same day. There is no general anaesthetic and no overnight stay.
Is adult circumcision painful?
The procedure itself is pain-free. Local anaesthetic fully numbs the area, so you feel no pain during surgery. Most patients have only mild soreness for a few days afterwards, which simple pain relief controls.
Is circumcision available on the NHS or only privately?
The NHS funds circumcision only when it is medically necessary, such as severe phimosis or BXO. Elective, cultural or cosmetic circumcision is private, where access is faster and you can choose the technique.
How soon can I return to work, exercise and sex?
Most patients return to a desk job within 2–3 days and to physical work in about a week. Strenuous exercise and sexual activity are usually resumed at around four to six weeks, once healing is complete.
Does adult circumcision affect sensation?
Most men report no significant change in everyday sensation after circumcision. Evidence on sexual sensation is mixed, and your surgeon will discuss what to expect at your consultation.
What are the risks and side effects?
Adult circumcision is very safe and most patients recover without problems. The main risks are minor bleeding, infection and scarring. Your surgeon explains each risk at your consultation, and you have a 24/7 support line throughout recovery.
What method do you use for adult circumcision?
We offer glue, dissolvable stitches and the ZSR stapler, and select the most suitable one for your anatomy and preferences at your consultation.
Do you use skin glue to close circumcision wounds?
Yes, for most adult circumcisions. We use medical-grade glue (Dermabond Advanced or Derma+flex, based on 2-octyl cyanoacrylate), which seals the skin edges with no stitches to remove and minimal scarring.
Do you do frenuloplasty or frenulectomy?
Yes. We perform frenuloplasty or frenulectomy, either at the same time as your circumcision or as a separate procedure. → Frenuloplasty
Do you have an age limit for circumcision?
No. There is no upper age limit, and we routinely treat men of all ages, including those in their 70s and beyond.
Is there a clinic near me in East London?
Yes — we have clinics in South Woodford and Leyton, serving Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Newham and the surrounding boroughs, plus a clinic in Cambridge.
Do I have to come for consultation separately?
Not usually. Most patients have the consultation and procedure on the same day. A separate video consultation is available if you would prefer to discuss things first.
How do I care for the wound?
A light dressing is applied to stop the wound sticking to clothing and usually stays on for about four days. Wear loose, comfortable clothing for two to three days. You go home with full written aftercare instructions and a 24/7 telephone number. → Aftercare guide
